Twilight: Breaking Dawn Giveaway

Happy Breaking Dawn release day! Love it or hate it, you probably have an opinion about Breaking Dawn. Personally, it was my least favorite book out of the four and I think it's ridiculous that they've broken it up into two films. However, it's a tradition among my friends to get a group together to see the movies when they're released. I don't think they're great movies but they're fun and I always have a good time seeing them with my friends. And no, I do not have midnight tickets. We are going Sunday afternoon and I am really looking forward to it.

So in the spirit of fun, we here at RNSL are hosting a Breaking Dawn Giveaway. One lucky winner will get the following goodies:

Breaking Dawn Hardcover
Twilight Deluxe CD soundtrack album
New Moon soundtrack album
Eclipse soundtrack album
Breaking Dawn soundtrack album

Another two winners will be picked to get Breaking Dawn CDs. That's 3 winners total. Following is not required though it's always appreciated. All you have to do is leave a comment with whether or not you love or hate Breaking Dawn and why.  Sorry, only open to U.S. residents. Good luck!

  1. I didn't love or hate it. I was in between. I liked having the conclusion but it seemed overly drawn out and it was just so out of place that part of the book was from Jacobs perspective. I mean I understand why, but still. I just don't know. Its the only book in the series I haven't read more than once.

  2. I'm very forgiving of the 4th bk/movie since I predicted the whole Jacob/BabyThing deal. I just got home from the midnight show! As always I liked the funny bits--love Seth & Leah. I even liked those animations they thrown in to illustrate the whole venom-conversion process. Much more entertaining than watching KS squint at people. GREAT soundtrack. Hubby's going to cringe but I'm going to make him buy it on his iTunes acct :D

  3. I love them all. I've really enjoyed the human/vamp romance. Even though the books are for teens, as a mother of 4, it's nice to get away from the norm.

  4. I love the series! I saw the movie last night and loved it! I will be the first to admit that the story in Breaking Dawn is absolutely ridiculous, but its Stephenie Meyer's story and only she can decide what happens! I love the world she has created! Wish it was real!

  5. Twilight and Breaking Dawn were my favorite books of the series. Unfortunately they were not the best of the movies. Twilight was horrendous and Breaking Dawn had some pretty corny parts. I will always them for reawakening my love of reading though!

  6. Breaking dawn was my least favorite book in the series, It was okay in some parts and bad in some other parts. I thought the movie was better than the book.

  7. I'm kind of in the middle. I mean I'm not a crazy fan, but I'm don't hate it either. I would really love to hear the soundtrack :) Thanks for the chance to win!

  8. I have not watched any of the moves, just read the books. Breaking Dawn seemed to me like the book was rushed. Like the author decided the series would only have 4 books so she finished the plot in chunks. If the story had been fleshed out like the first three it would have been a good pair of books. It is not my favorite book, but it is far from my least favorite.

  9. I loved it! There were a few parts I could have done without but overall I was pleased. The wedding and honeymoon was great and I liked the way they let Jacob have a happy ending. It made sense to me even though there was so many people that hated it. My fave part of the whole series was the ending when Edward got to hear what she was thinking. Perfect ending for me!

  10. Well, if your talking about the book then I actually really liked it. I liked it more than the rest actually. I think it's because I love Renesmee. I'm a mother so maybe that's plays more into my interest lol and it felt that it was more lively than the other books. More action and drama, I wasn't bored at all. But if you're talking about the movie, sadly I haven't gone to watch it yet. Hopefully I'll get to this weekend. =) I'm trying hard to avoid any post that has reviews or details on the movie so I don't get spoilers =D
Thank you for hosting this giveaway!!
Happy Readings and have a great weekend!!

  13. Not my favorite of the four (or five? or five-and-a-half?) -- but they're ALL my favorite when the mood strikes!

  14. Why would anyone hate Breaking Dawn? Sure it was originally a very long sequel written just for Stephenie's sister but Forever Dawn became more than borderline fan fiction. Whether or not you like Renesmee etc seeing Bella as a vampire and getting that first hand experience is cool. Also getting the story told by Jacob actually made me like him more. (Team Edward)

  17. I didn't hate this book, but I certainly didn't love it! I did not like the baby, she is cute in all, but I just didn't like her. Also what was with the end? I thought there was going to be this big war, but no. I thought it was a boring book, worst of the series in my opinion!

  18. I read and loved Breaking Dawn. I loved all of the Twilight Saga series, but BD is my favorite because it has the most action starting with the long awaited wedding, pregnancy etc... I can't wait to see the movie I will wait impatiently for hopefully no longer than 2 weeks so that the lines aren't as long as I know they are right now.

  21. I didn't love it or hate it but compared to the other three books in the series it was my least favorite. It was all just really depressing and I didn't care for Jacobs point of view either. I'm still planning on going to the movies to watch it though but i'm not in a rush to.

  23. Breaking Dawn isn't bad but its definitely not my favorite of the books. I've only read it once, while all the other ones ive read at least 5 times and the first one way more than that. I'm still going to go see the movie though.

  25. I LOVED the movie! Stuck right close to the book. The best yet! I didnt like Carlisle's hair. The wolf speak was a neat idea, but came across as OFF. Like 1980s superhero cartoon OFF. I want to see it again! Cant wait til #2!!!

  26. We went to the Midnight Premier...there was at least 1,000 people there. It was cold and raining, thunder and lightning, windy and we had to wait 2 hours in line even though we pre-purchased our tickets. We laughed and cried, and even though we KNEW what was going to happen, it was worth every second. They told us it was 2 1/2 hours long, but it only seemed like 20 mins. IT WAS SO GOOD!

  29. I remember coming home right after picking up my copy of breaking dawn & start reading it. I was planning to not sleep the whole night. But it was probably around 3 in the morning when I just had to put it down cause I couldn't believe what was happening. I thought it was ridiculous at the time haha but now I'm just eh about it.
