I'm terrible at challenges but I sign up for them anyway. Hey, you never know when one might stick!
I learned about the Women of Genre Fiction Reading Challenge from Thuy over at our sister blog, RNSL Nite Lite. The task is to read 1 new book from 12 women authors this year, and write reviews for each. I've actually read books by about 30 of the authors on the women authors page. You have to pick 12 authors whose books you have never read before.
Here's Thuy's reading challenge. And here's mine:
- Libba Bray
* - Rae Carson
* - Angela Carter
* - Kathleen Duey

- Louise Erdrich

- Nancy Farmer
* - Nina Kiriki Hoffman

- Kate Milford
* - Naomi Novik
* - Tamora Pierce
* - Catherynne M. Valente
* - Moira Young
*
I'll update this page as I read and review books from the challenge authors. *I tried to pick authors whose books I already own but have not read. So I only have to buy 3 books! ;)
You can join, too! Sign up here. There are prizes you will be eligible to win if you complete the challenge, but I'm just doing it to read and review the books.

Yay! now we can be challenge buddies. I suck at these things, too, but am hoping I can stuck with this one good luck!
ReplyDeleteFairyland is also on my list. I'm looking forward to hearing what you think! Happy Reading!!
